What Life Exists In The Waters Under Large Bodies Of Land?
I know that biologist and scientist have searched oceans and sea for life. But have they went under large land masses, for instance the U.S to find life. Say for instance sending something off the coast of Texas to go under the U.S to end up right under Oklahoma to find life. Has it been done yet and what was found?

North America does not float in the ocean like some huge raft, so sending divers under the edge of the continent is impossible. Sometimes underground rivers empty into the sea, but they do not go as far inland as from the Texas coast to Oklahoma. Many of these river systems are associated with limestone deposits and the ones in Florida have been studied. Besides clouds of exotic bacteria, blind salamanders, fish and crayfish can be found. The most unusual aquatic inhabitants of cave systems are found in Madagascar. These are cave dwelling crocodiles. They are ordinary crocodiles which spend some of their time deep underground in caves.
